I painted about – love. or about how it has often presents itself to me. Incomprehensible. Excruciating. Frustrating. Much less like the soft-spoken kitsch I remember. Bad luck for me, apparently.

Nevertheless, I AM NOT is not the end, it is a start. I am letting go of all that keeps me down and I make space. For the one thousand other things I have that are worthy of my time. For new adventures, new beginnings, new mistakes. Without the frustration but with good music and laughter and a gaze that knows just one direction – upwards.

I AM NOT – my way of saying: Focus on the good things. It’s time to jump and fly.
