lockdown creativity

The series displayed was created after the phase of the first major exit restrictions in my home city of Berlin in May 2020. When the city very cautiously opened up again, I seized the opportunity to see some works by one of my favourite artists in a tiny exhibition. As a result, the first large painting in the series was created, followed by five more. The creation of the motifs was beautiful and unpredictable for me at the same time – very similar to the situation around me.
